This situation is typically not because of low quality or underpowered equipment, but simply due to the complexity of controlling the entire system. The blazing speed of technical advancement in the home theater market has compounded the problem. At the heart of our service is a methodology that brings the entire system together, no mater how simple or complex, into an easy to use user interface.

By Design Systems In-Home Design Consultation
We will design a home theater system to fit your needs.
   Your consultant will:
      • Help you envision your home theater system
      • Discuss items that can and cannot be accomplished
      • Determine problem areas and a solution
      • Go over product selection
      • Produce an estimate

   Approximate time: 1.5 hr.

    Cost $99.00 *Which will be credited towards your installation
         Additional charges may be required for travel beyond installation coverage areas.

Home Theater Setup (only)
By design will connect all of your components TV, DVD, VCR, CD, Cable, satellite...
   The installer will:
      • Review with you on the work to be done
      • Connect audio/video components in 1 room
      • Set up 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system
      • Verify speakers& components are properly working
      • Train you on any changes of remote. (if any)

      Approximate time: 2 hrs - including clean up

      Cost $199.99 Materials (wire, cables, components) provided by customer for all equipment being set up.

Home Theater Packages
By Design will mount your PLASMA or LCD TV on a wall or other location and connect it to your audio and video components...Program all Harmony remotes purchased & train you on how to use your new home theater (all packages only).
   The installer will:
      • Review the installation with you (TV location & component location)
      • Route wires, fish walls (speakers & HD cables)
      • Mount PLASMA or LCD to bracket.
      • Connect power cord to existing AC power outlet (we can provide this service). Additional fees apply.
      • Integrate TV, cable box, receiver, DVD, CD, VCR, video game components into one remote. (Excludes DVR, TIVO) (Plasma can not play games)
      • Set up surround sound 5.1 or 7.1. Verify speakers are properly working.
      • Program your Harmony remote & train you to operate equipment.

    Approximate time: 5- 7 hrs.

    Note: This is for packages only!!!!!!

Digital or HD/Video Setup (only)
By Design will connect your video components TV, DVD, VCR, CD, Cable, and Satellite
   The installer will:
      • Review with customer the work to be done
      • Connect audio/video components in 1 room
      • Verify components are properly working
      • Train you on any changes of remote.

   Approximate time: 1.5 hr including clean up

   Cost $129.99 Materials (wire, cables, components) provided by customer for all equipment being set up.

    Note: This is for rooms with no surround sound.
